The YSRCP has raised the issue of harassment and foisting of cases against the social media activists of the YSRCP. YSRCP senior leader Malladi Vishnu and party social media coordinator G Devender Reddy have on Wednesday met Andhra Pradesh DGP Malakondaiah and raised the issue of foisting of cases.
They told him that the police were targeting and harassing YSRCP social media activists for posting criticism of the TDP and the AP Government. They pointed out that cases were being foisted on them. They pointed out that such cases were foisted in Nellore, Guntur, Kurnool and several other districts.
The police are doing nothing when the TDP men post similar posts against the YSRCP and YS Jagan, they pointed out. This is pure and simple bias, they said and demanded that their right to expression be protected. The DGP gave them patient hearing and assured to take appropriate action.
