*Krishna Lanka custodial death is failure of law and order*

Kakinada, June 24: YSRCP has termed the custodial death of Sai Krishna as failure of law and order and flayed Chandrababu Naidu for his remarks based on caste and religion and uncharitable words on Mudragada Padmanabham. 
Speaking to media here on Wednesday, former minister K Kannababu, Thota Trimurthulu and Dadisetti Raja said the Krishna Lanka case and its handling shows that the government has failed totally and police are making up it to protect bigwigs. 
They also criticized the manner in which Chandrababu has been talking about YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit to a temple during his Pulivendula tour. It is atrocious on his behalf to pass such remarks and also caste based talk in the Krihna Lanka custodial death case. 
The Kapu factor has been time and again being broached by him targeting the Opposition and about the meeting we held where political situation was discussed and it has nothing to do with caste and there was nothing we expressed targeting Pawan Kalyan.
The issue of caste in the Krishna Lanka case came up from the other end stating that the CI and the victim were Kapus. In the entire episode, Nagaraju is being made a scapegoat .
The leaders made a strong resentment on the remarks being made on former minister Mudragada Padmanabham and Chandrababu spinning baseless allegations through his friendly media only shows his shallowness. 
Padmanabham has been a towering personality in the state polity and he has a great following in the region and such remarks on him are highly objectionable, they said. 
He is being treated in a world class hospital and the reports of the financial constraints are baseless, they sai9d.
