YS Jagan expressed his sorrow about the train accident

Anantapur: The leader of Opposition, YS Jagan expressed his deep regrets and shock regarding the train accident in Anantapur district. He sympathized with the families of those who died in the accident. He expressed his regret that such incidents do not repeat.
The Nanded express has collided with a granite lorry near Madakasira Railway gate, Penukonda Mandal, Anantapur district. Due to this incident, three coaches derailed from the train. Further as the Granite stone fell on the AC coach, the coach was completely smashed. In this event, the Karnataka Deb Durg MLA Venkatesh Naik, railway AC technician, Syed Ahmed, Farmer Pullarao of Raichur and the private officer, Raju and the Lorry cleaner died.
On the repeated events of train accidents, in Anantapur, it is facing lot of criticism. In recent years, three accidents took place in the same district. However, no proper action and awareness for measures, lot of criticism is heard from the government side. There is a demand from people that government should take steps to secure the protection of life and to provide security.
Three train accidents in Anantapur alone ..!
Within less span of time three train accidents took place in Anantapur. That too it is only to the Nanded express is to be observed.
In May 2012, an accident took place. Hampi Express and Nanded Express had to cross the Penogonda railway crossing. Though the stop signal was there, Hampi express crossed the line and rushed and collided with a goods train standing on the rails. 25 people were killed in the collision.
In December 2013, near Puttaparti, kotta cheruvu, Nandded express was caught in fire and at least 26 people were killed. It is a tragedy at that time filled in the minds of people.
In 2015, August 24th the Nanded express has collided with a granite lorry near Madakasira Railway gate, Penukonda Mandal, Anantapur district. Due to this three coaches derailed from the train.
