*Coalition should shun diversion politics*

Tadepalli, April 24: Reiterating that the coalition government is resorting to diversion politics, YSRCP has demanded that it attend to the pressing problems of the people.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, former minister Sake Sailajanath said Chandrababu and his cabinet ministers are, day in and day out, speaking relentlessly to divert the attention of the people without addressing their respective ministries or showing any concern over the hardships being faced by all sections.
For the past five to six days, Chandrababu and his cabinet colleagues have been leveling baseless allegations and trying to spread falsehoods, unmindful of the fact that all sections of people feel they are being cheated as election promises are not being fulfilled.
Farmers are in distress as they are not getting MSP for any crop, and procurement is not being carried out, giving scope for middlemen to exploit gullible farmers. Whether it is mirchi, paddy, maize, or any other crop, the government has not procured produce and has left farmers in the lurch.
The Agriculture Minister talks tall to divert attention but does not address farmers’ issues.
The education sector is in dismay, with no fee reimbursement, and students in welfare hostels are often falling sick. The concerned minister is not addressing these issues, nor the concerns of unemployed youth who are not receiving stipends, but they have time to spread falsehoods against YSRCP.
Unable to face Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy politically, they are leveling baseless allegations to cover up their failures. Law and order has deteriorated, and rampant corruption and commissions in sand, liquor, and other sectors are allegedly being shared by ruling party leaders.
Mavign was a viable alternative suggested by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, but the coalition has been unable to give a convincing answer to the points raised by him. In many cities, water is brought from outside to meet public needs, whereas in Amaravati, water is being drained to prevent inundation, he said.
Temple lands are being given away to corporate houses, and the much-hyped Google centre turned out to be an Adani Data Center, exposing the coalition’s claims, he added.
