*YSRCP slams Chandrababu for spreading falsehoods*

Kadapa, April 24: YSRCP has flayed Chandrababu and his propaganda machinery for spreading blatant lies and canards against Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to divert attention from the failures of the coalition government.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Party General Secretary S. Satish Kumar Reddy said that though the complaint filed with the police clearly names the accused in Dastagiri’s murder case, Chandrababu and his media are trying to drag in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s name into the incident.
Chandrababu, while speaking at Anakapalli during a programme, spoke incoherently and tried to attribute the murder to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRCP, and to level false allegations only to defame political adversaries.
The complaint lodged by the victim’s son clearly states the sequence of events leading to the murder and names the persons involved. Even one of his friendly media outlets had earlier carried the same version, stating that the crime was due to vengeance and a rift between two groups.
Unmindful of these facts, Chandrababu made tall claims on the murder case during the programme, trying to implicate YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party, which is only to cover up his failures in governance.
As he has no achievements to speak about, he has been raking up the issue to divert public attention.
Playing his old game, Chandrababu has constituted a team of officials to investigate the case and included officials who are willing to toe the coalition line, as has happened in many cases earlier.
The investigating team will be working as per the agenda and directions given from the top.
By pressing his ministers and associates to spread falsehoods, the image of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy cannot be tarnished, nor can his stature be lowered, and all such efforts will boomerang.
The spread of falsehoods for political purposes can be seen through by the people, and his real motives will eventually come out in the open, he said.
