Hyderabad: YSR Congress party (YSRCP) MP Vijayasai Reddy threw a challenge at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in a counter to the claims that the net income of the State was the highest in the country. In a tweet aimed at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief, Vijayasai Reddy addressed highlighted the issue of mounting burden of loans on the State's econonomy.
Reacting to Chandrababu's claims that Andhra Pradesh was No.1 in terms of net income and that the villages were getting prosperous, Vijayasai Reddy asked whether the AP CM had the courage to write down the total amount of loans taken by the government in the last four years. In recent times, the Rajya Sabha MP has been highly critical about the irregularities and false claims by the TDP MLAs, ministers and MPs. He has been sharing his thoughts on Twitter.
"Chandrababu stated that Andhra Pradesh was No.1 in net income and that the villages are thriving. He wants the public to promote the numbers by writing them down on walls across the State. Does Chandrababu have the courage to write down the per capita loan on each person from the State's Rs 1.5 lakh crore loans on the same walls?" he asked in his tweet.
