Please Solve the Water Problem of Nellore

Nellore: YSRCP MLAs Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and Anil Kumar Yadav appealed for
the solution of problem of irrigation water and drinking water in Nellore
district. They mentioned this during the question hour of the assembly.

Kotamreddy requested for the development of water resources in Kanigiri
reservoir and Nellore reservoir. He informed the house about the presence of
Bala Saheb Dargah and Goddess Prameswara Thalli’s temple in the vicinity of the
reservoirs. He reminded that leaders had previously announced the development
of the area into a place of tourist interest by making it up similar to Tank
Bund.

Nellore Urban MLA Anil Kumar Yadav requested the Government to take up
the work of Penna barrage. He stated that this would alleviate the drinking
water problem in Nellore city as well as provide irrigation water to Kovuru
area. Minister Devineni Uma responded to these requests positively.
