Govt. using repressive methods on YSRCP cadre

Guntur, July 13: YSRCP has slammed the coalition government for its repressive methods and using police to settle political scores and assured the cadre that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would stand by the cadre and times will not be the same always.
Speaking to media after visiting Nagamalleswara Rao, who is battling with life at hospital here, Party General Secretary, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said, police at the behest of Chandrababu Naidu have been booking cases on YSRCP cadres who are the victims but ignoring the atrocities of TDP despite video evidence given.
The attack was carried out at the behest of MLA Dulipalli Narendra and when YSRCP leaders went to lodge a complaint, a case was registered against Party in-charge Murali. The attack was with political motive, he said.
Nagamalleswara Rao, hails from a political family and the heinous attack on him shows the vindictive attitude of the coalition and every attack on our cadre will strengthen their resolve to fight back, he said adding that it is police rule that is going on in the state. Guntur district has seen much of police highhandedness in recent times including the Tenali incident.
The attack on woman BC leader by TDP near Gudivada shows decline of law and order situation and in every attack carried out on our party workers police stand a mute witness and when we complain with video evidence no action is taken.
The attack on Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s residence and not allowing Peddareddy to visit Tadipatri citing law and order issue despite court directive only shows that police are dancing to the tune of political bosses and attacks on YSRCP cadre is taking place on a weekly basis, he said.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been with the people and extends solidarity to all those in need and went to meet mirchi, tobacco and mango farmers and the government in a knee jerk reaction puts up shows that the matter is escalated to Delhi but to no avail.
Chandrababu Naidu is trying to gag the voice of Opposition and gag the voices that question but he cannot continue this method of governance for long and unrest among people is increasingly high. He is not reacting on people’s issues but is busy in working out conspiracies against YSRCP leaders and cadre by foisting false cases and putting them in jail.
