*YSRCP slams Chandrababu on Polavaram*

Visakhapatnam, Sept 2: YSRCP has slammed Chandrababu for his blatant lies on Polavaram waters and termed his remarks at the public meeting as a sheer betrayal of North Coastal Andhra.

Speaking to media here on Wednesday, former minister Gudivada Amarnath said, while the water to North Coastal Andhra should be coming by gravity, the bringing water through lift and claiming credit shows the shallowness of the Chief Minister.

It was Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy and his son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who had done major part of the Polavaram while Chandrababu has betrayed people of North Andhra by agreeing to the height and back dated rates which has a telling effect on the project.

The publicity mania of Chandrababu has only stooped low to target YS Jagan Mohan Reddy while Polavaram has always been a money minting project for the TDP leader which was said by the Prime Minister earlier.

His promise to allocate water to the Data Center shows how low he can stoop and erase his earlier promises to suit his political and event management purpose.

While major part of the project was completed by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy despite Covid, the remaining small percentage of work was done by giving contract to his own people at an exorbitant rate and is now boasting about completion of the project.

The left bank canal, which was not conceived by him, has lost its purpose and Chandrababu using the occasion to complete the event in a hurry and targeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is highly deplorable, he said.

Chandrababu has always been staking claim for the projects that were conceived and nearly completed by others by resorting to publicity to take credit while the reality is otherwise.

He has done the same for Bhogapuram airport and Veligonda project and he has such a history for long. It was YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who has prioritized education and medical health by setting up medical colleges, hospitals and universities in North Andhra.
