YSRCP slams Coalition govt for deception and violence

Guntur, July 13: YSRCP has launched a scathing attack on the coalition government for betraying public trust and orchestrating violence against opposition members. Former Minister Ambati Rambabu, addressing the media, condemned Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for failing to deliver his promises, completes one year in power and steps into its second.
“Chandrababu’s ‘Babu Surety - Future Guarantee’ is nothing but a blatant deception of the people,” Rambabu asserted, announcing the party’s statewide campaign, Babu Surety - Mosam Guarantee (Deception Guarantee), to expose the government’s failures.
Rambabu highlighted the incident in Gudivada constituency, where attempts were made to disrupt the YSRCP’s Babu Surety - Mosam Guarantee program. Krishna District ZP Chairperson Uppala Harika, a member of the Backward Classes (BC) community, was targeted in a violent attack on her vehicle. “The assailants, reportedly under the influence of alcohol and drugs, attacked Harika’s car, while the police merely stood by as spectators,” Rambabu stated. He demanded an immediate response from the State Home Minister, questioning the silence on attacks targeting women from marginalized communities. “Does the Home Minister have no accountability when BC women are attacked?” he challenged.
The police are actively obstructing YSRCP leaders, including former Minister Perni Nani, from participating in public activities. “The police are preventing former MLAs and ministers from attending meetings or engaging with the public. Perni Nani is being confined to his residence, denied the right to move freely,” he said. Rambabu called for cases to be registered against those responsible for the attack on Harika’s vehicle and urged the DGP to act impartially, accusing the DGP of functioning as a partisan agent of the ruling coalition.
The YSRCP leader vowed that the party would continue its fight to expose the coalition government’s failures and protect democratic rights. “We will not be silenced by intimidation or violence. The people of Andhra Pradesh deserve transparency and accountability, and we will hold this government accountable for its betrayals,” Rambabu concluded
