*CBI probe into Kranthi Kumar's Death, YSRCP demands Justice for Dalit Family*

Vijayawada,  June 20: A YSRCP delegation that visited the family of Perupogu Kranthi Kumar in Vijayawada demanded a CBI inquiry into his death and urged Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to personally visit the bereaved family and ensure justice. The leaders also called upon the government to provide support to Kranthi Kumar's children, who have been left without a breadwinner. They stated that repeated attacks on Dalits and growing police excesses are the direct consequence of the "Red Book Constitution" and held Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha responsible for creating an atmosphere where police operate beyond the law.

The YSRCP leaders said that when the very police entrusted with protecting citizens become a source of fear, ordinary people are left with nowhere to seek justice. They stated that had public grievances been addressed seriously instead of being ignored, tragedies such as the deaths of Gade Sai Krishna and Kranthi Kumar could have been prevented. They warned that several police stations in the state have become centres of harassment and demanded immediate reforms to restore accountability within the police system.

The delegation further questioned why the Home Minister had not visited the victim's family despite the seriousness of the incident and demanded an apology from the government over repeated attacks on Dalits. Kranthi Kumar's father, Perupogu Venkateswara Rao, sought a CBI investigation and said his son died after prolonged police harassment, leaving behind a recorded video explaining the circumstances that drove him to suicide. YSRCP leaders asserted that police officials responsible for the harassment must face action and reiterated that the government must extend justice, rehabilitation and financial support to the victim's family while undertaking a complete overhaul of the policing system to prevent such incidents from recurring.
