*Mudragada Padmanabham left an enduring legacy in AP politics: Former Ministers Kannababu and Dadisetti Raja*

Tadepalli, July 14: Former Ministers Kurasala Kannababu and Dadisetti Raja expressed profound grief over the passing of veteran leader, former Minister, former MP, and Kapu movement leader Sri Mudragada Padmanabham.

 Addressing the media at the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli, they described his death as an irreparable loss to Andhra Pradesh politics and especially to the Kapu community. They appealed to everyone to respect his legacy and refrain from trolling or causing further distress to his bereaved family on social media.

The two leaders said Mudragada dedicated nearly three decades of his life to the Kapu reservation movement and always placed the interests of the community above personal political gain. They recalled that despite serving as an MLA, MP, and Minister, he remained a leader known for his honesty, straightforward nature, determination, and unwavering commitment to the promises he made to the people. They said his courage to stand by his convictions would continue to inspire future generations.

Kannababu and Raja also recalled Mudragada's long association with Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy from the days of the Odarpu Yatra and said he had recently resumed an active role in the YSRCP before falling ill. They praised his warmth, humility, and hospitality, saying he personally looked after thousands of supporters during the Kapu movement. Offering heartfelt condolences, they prayed for eternal peace to his soul and strength to his family, stating that his service and sacrifices would remain forever in the hearts of the people.
