Hyderabad, March 14: YSRCP has slammed the coalition for its false propaganda and trying to undermine the Opposition.
Speaking to media here on Saturday, former Finance Minister said the coalition is trying to underplay the pointed facts raised by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the state finances and conduct Assembly session but the reality is that our stand is vindicated as always.
We have categorically stated the budget figures does not add up as there is a yawning gap between the allocations and the requirement to implement the promises.
We have pointed out that the loans raised by the coalition do not match the welfare schemes as the number of beneficiaries are being drastically reduced and the figures do not match.
The over Rs 3 lakh crore loans raised do not match the requirement of the Super Six. The number of beneficiaries of Talliki Vandanam, pensions, Annadatha Sukhibhava and others were drastically reduced.
This was what YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has reminded and being a responsible Opposition, he has the right to highlight the failures, fudging and deception of funds and remarks were made in the Assembly to demean the Opposition.
Though much was spoken about women empowerment under the Maha Shakti programme none of the schemes were introduced as told during election campaign.
