*Chandrababu obsessed with laying foundation stones*

Visakhapatnam, July 3: YSRCP has flayed Chandrababu for repeatedly laying foundation stones to the projects started by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the unabated credit chori by the coalition government.

Speaking to media here on Friday former minister Gudivada Amarnath said, while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was instrumental in working out the logistics of Kadapa Steel Plant, Chandrababu has scuttled it and after two years renegotiated and is laying foundation stone for the same Plant adding another credit chori feather to his cap.

It was YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who entrusted the Steel Plant to JSW Group and it would be viable if it comes up in private sector and laid foundation stone in the presence of Sajjan Jindal when I was the Industries Minister, he said.

We granted incentives and secured environment clearances way back in 2022 and made road-rail connectivity to facilitate the Steel Plant.

The coalition government after assuming office, targeted Jindal Group and created a controversy involving a starlet and suspended two senior police officers, who are still not given any posting.

The group diverted its investment to Telangana and Maharashtra at the cost of our state job loss to our youth.

Now, Chandrababu has come forward to lay a foundation stone afresh only to undermine the hard work of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and take credit for the unit. In 2019 as well Chandrababu laid foundation stone for the same unit and did not bother about it later.

It seems Chandrababu is on a mission of laying foundation stone afresh to the projects conceived by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and claim the investments coming in due to our efforts as their own.

The government should answer as to how many industries had come in with their efforts and what is the investment worth and how many jobs they have created.

The election promises still remain unfulfilled and nearly half of their term is getting over.
