Rajamahendravaram, Feb 27: Former MLA Jakkampudi Raja has accused the coalition government of disrupting peace and security in Andhra Pradesh since assuming power. He criticized its failure to fulfill election promises, and it files cases against critics and targets YSRCP leaders with illegal arrests and intimidation, including late-night threats to women despite health pleas.
Raja called out the government’s impunity in harassing YSRCP affiliates.
He cited the arrests of Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Posani Krishna Murali as vindictive moves to mask failures, accusing the coalition of diversion politics while abandoning Super Six promises. Raja slammed the lack of governance, noting unfulfilled assurances like Rythu Bharosa and Thalliki Vandanam and habitual distractions from scrutiny.
Warning of backlash, he said the coalition’s oppressive tactics would rebound, with an unprecedented public resentment brewing. Raja asserted that the people who empowered this coalition government were now ready to revolt against it.
