SV Satish Reddy slams TDP’s political vendetta

Tadepalli, June 18: YSRCP State General Secretary SV Satish Reddy strongly condemned the conspiracies and obstructions created by the coalition government during former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's visit to Palnadu.
Addressing the media at the Party central office here on Wednesday, Satish Reddy said that despite all the hurdles, thousands of people thronged to see and support YS Jagan, proving that the people’s affection for their leader remains unshaken.
He said the police, under government orders, denied permission, imposed restrictions on vehicles, and erected barricades to block the movement of people. However, the public defied these tactics and stood firmly with YS Jagan. It took nearly nine hours for Jagan to reach Rentapalla from Tadepalli due to the overwhelming crowd, he said. Satish Reddy remarked that the outpouring of public support should serve as a warning to the government after one year of poor governance.
He said Naidu, influenced by his son Lokesh’s ambitions, is leading the state and his party into ruin. The same government that did not impose any restrictions on the TDP’s Kadapa rally is now obstructing Jagan’s public visit, he noted, calling it hypocritical.
Satish Reddy also criticized TDP leaders for spreading false claims about the death of Nagamalleswara Rao, calling their remarks insensitive. He challenged them to answer the open statement made by the deceased’s father, who denied any link to betting and demanded justice.
He warned the TDP leadership against using derogatory language against YS Jagan, stating that if they continue such personal attacks, the party is prepared to respond in equal measure.
