Coalition govt vindictive

Tadepalli, April 27: YSRCP has reiterated that the coalition government has been misusing official machinery to settle personal scores with vindictive agenda and has set a wrong precedence in filing counter case as is evident in Kadambari Jehtwani issue.
Speaking to media here on Sunday, the Party Legal Cell President, M Manohar Reddy said while Jethwani was legally arrested in Mumbai and produced before Vijaywada court following due procedure and was later granted bail, the coalition has government has filed a counter case implicating the investigation officers and others which is setting a wrong precedence.
The government has been vindictive in implicating the police officials who had a good track record and had shown grit in maintaining law and order during the arrest of Chandrbabu Naidu in the Skill Development scam case besides other cases.
Going by the sequence of events after the coalition government took over, it is a clear case of vendetta that has been seen by filing a counter case after a lapse of over seven months of the original case.
Jethwani, had reversed her earlier stand and stated that she and her family members were harassed and parroted what the coalition biggies wanted. She has been facing cases on various counts which is a point to be noted.
The arrest of the original complainant Kukkala Vidyasagar Rao to the DG rank officer PSR Anjaneelu shows how the power is being misused by the government. The police should maintain restraint and follow the rule book as if such cases are encouraged in the coming days there is scope for many violations and counter cases on the original complainant and investigation team could become order of the day, he warned.
