Apologise to AP women or face consequences: YSRCP warns ABN Radhakrishna

Tadepalli, April 7,: YSRCP leaders Vangaveeti Narendra and former APIDC Chairperson Bandi Punyaseela strongly demanded that ABN Radhakrishna issue an unconditional apology to the women of Andhra Pradesh for his highly objectionable remarks, warning that failure to do so would invite serious consequences. Addressing the media at the party central office, they condemned his comments suggesting immoral relationships as deeply offensive and disgraceful, stating that he has long lost credibility as a journalist and has now fallen even below basic human standards.
Vangaveeti Narendra said journalism is respected only when it upholds values, but Radhakrishna’s writings have crossed all limits by insulting women under the guise of media. He alleged that such writings amount to blackmail journalism and asserted that YSRCP’s protests will continue until an apology is issued. He made it clear that the party has exercised restraint so far, but warned that stronger action would follow if such behavior continues.
Bandi Punyaseela accused Radhakrishna of indulging in biased and malicious narratives while acting as a mouthpiece for Chandrababu Naidu, and said his remarks reflect deep-rooted prejudice and frustration. She questioned what wrong YSRCP women or leaders’ families had done to deserve such insults and stated that targeting women for political motives is unacceptable. She demanded that Radhakrishna immediately apologise to the women of the state, warning that otherwise the party would intensify its response and pursue legal action if necessary.
