In the wake of the upcoming elections in the state, the YSR Congress Party on Monday released the campaign song - Ravali Jagan, Kavali Jagan which is also the official slogan of the campaign.
Top YSRCP leaders V Vijaya Sai Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Sagidurga Prasad Raju were present for the song launch. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy and Mr Satyanarayana said that the song represented the people's dissatisfaction with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's governance and the reasons why they want to elect YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The party intends to ensure that the song reaches the people across the state even at the grass-root level.
Sharing that the Indian Political Action Committee created the song after speaking to thousands of people across the state in the last year, the YSRCP leaders said that the song shows how people are fed up with the false promises of the current government and have lost faith in Chandrababu, hence have decided to bring YS Jagan to power.
Another YSRCP leader shared that the lyrics of the song describe women being cheated over DWCRA loan waiver, false promises of jobs, the pain of pensioners and people belonging from the Backward Castes being burdened by loans.
Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy and Mr Satyanarayana further said that the song is an outcry of various sections of society bringing together the voice of the public across the state.
They further asserted that YS Jagan is the only person who could provide justice to the people of AP.
