*YSRCP flays Pawan Kalyan for remarks on welfare schemes*

Ananthapur, July 27: YSRCP has slammed Pawan Kalyan for his irresponsible remarks on welfare schemes and said it is unbecoming for a leader to utter such words.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, former minister Sake Sailajanath said, Pawan Kalyan saying that welfare schemes cannot win elections shows his lack of understanding of public policy.
Attributing that the welfare schemes did not give results to political parties while addressing his party cadre shows his immaturity and lack of understanding of democracy, he said.
The welfare schemes of YSR and Jagan Mohan Reddy has reached out to every nook and corner of the State and Pawan Kalyan along with Chandrababu has given in writing about the poll promises stating it was a signed bond and now he shamelessly speaks in a different tone to his cadre.
The government has no respect for the manifesto and has gone back on every promise which shows the true colours of the coalition partners, he said.
While YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has initiated 17 medical colleges, the coalition has started to give it to private players and the same in case of ports.
While people of all walks of life were beneficiaries Chandrababu has been working only for the benefit of himself and his coterie.
The government failed on all fronts from law and order which is deteriorating with cases of Sai Krishna and Kiran Kumar speaking the intensity of the failure of policing the incident at Kavali shows how women are unsafe under the coalition government, he said.
Anyone questioning the government are being targeted and false cases are foisted and the rampant corruption in Amaravati, which is being built at the cost of and welfare of Rayalaseema and other regions, stands exposed with the high cost of construction which is manifold higher than those of the developed cities, he said.
