Tadepalli, July 30: YSRCP State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has called on the party to intensify its statewide agitation over the alleged DSC scam, injustice to unemployed youth and pending fee reimbursement dues. He asked all party committees to actively involve students, job aspirants and the public in the movement.
YSRCP State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy issued the directions during a teleconference with regional coordinators, district presidents, MLAs, constituency coordinators, Parliament observers, Assembly constituency observers and senior party leaders, following the instructions of YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He said the agitation should begin with submitting representations to District Collectors on July 31, followed by town hall meetings, relay hunger strikes and large rallies across the State. He asked all district and constituency leaders to work together and ensure the programmes are successful.
Sajjala said party committees should not exist only on paper. Every committee member should actively participate in party activities, take responsibility and help build stronger leadership at the grassroots.
He said the DSC issue directly affects students and unemployed youth and should grow into a people's movement. Party leaders should reach out to DSC candidates, students and coaching centres and encourage them to participate. Victims should be given a platform to share their experiences.
He also asked leaders to remain alert on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and closely monitor voter lists, unmapped voters, duplicate entries and Forms 6 and 7, taking timely action wherever required.
