YS Jagan’s assurance to Kakarapalli power plant victims

Srikakulam: Representatives of the Anti-Kakarapalli Thermal power plant committee approached Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and handed over a memorandum here at Bhorabadra, during the course of his mass contact initiative, Praja Sankalpa Yatra. The committee members sought YS Jagan's assistance for cancelling the permissions for the power plant in Kakarapalli.
Upon reaching Bhorabadra, YS Jagan visited the committee's hunger strike venue. He interacted with the locals and learnt about their problems.
The local fishermen poured out their concerns with the YSRCP chief. "We have lost our livelihood after the GO 1108 was issued. We should be included in the SCs," they asked.
The victims who had lost their houses in the devastation of cyclone Titli requested the Opposition leader for issuance of new houses to them. The people's leader promised to resolve all the issues after YSRCP comes to power.
