YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy resumed his padayatra on Day 204 from Kolanka near Ramachandrapuram of East Godavari district this afternoon.
The YSRCP president's popular mass contact initiative Praja Sankalpa Yatra had been put off till noon after heavy rains lashed the Konaseema region in the morning hours.
As YS Jagan started his walkathon, scores of supporters came out of their homes to greet the leader and pour out their woes. The AP Leader of Opposition headed to Uppumilli from Kolanka.
Ever since YS Jagan started his padayatra in East Godavari, there have been incessant rains in the region despite which the people's leader is marching on to as to no disappoint people who have been waiting with bated breath to see him. The public meeting which was to be held this evening at Draksharamam has been postponed to tomorrow evening, according to a party spokesperson.
