Chandrababu is a don and local MLA is a small-time don: YS Jagan

Srikakulam: Quoting Chandrababu's comments that the sugar factory was a closed chapter during his recent visit in the constituency, he promised to repoen it if YSRCP comes to power in the next elections.
YS Jagan said he heard from a local person that Chandrababu was a don and local MLA Kuna Ravi Kumar was a small-time don. "The sand reaches in Jalagam, Kakanyam, Uddanapeta, Kodepalli, Singuru and Chevyakulapeta were all exploited by the TDP leaders. From the local MLA and the collector to Nara Lokesh and Chandrababu, corruption ranged to the tune of Rs 300 crore in the constituency," he said.
Speaking about the local TDP MLA, the YSRCP chief said Ravi Kumar wouldn't wait for a second if he finds an open plot belonging to the government. He said the YSRCP leaders had to intervene in a land encroachment by the TDP MLA, who wanted to build the TDP office on government land beside the local police station.
He recalled that the Hiramandalam Reservoir was built on war mode by Dr YSR. Chandrababu released just Rs 520 crore while the damage evaluated in the Titli cyclone was Rs 3,400 crore.
The YSRCP chief explained that on 8 June, 2018, the Congress leaders released a book titled 'Chargesheet' on Chandrababu's corruption and failed governance. Five months later, Rahul Gandhi and Chandrababu were seen together in an election rally in Telangana, he added.
The same Chandrababu, who was booked in the 'note for vote case,' had shamelessly fought elections in Telangana. "Manavallu briefed me, nenu anni chuskunta," YS Jagan repeated Chandrababu's words in the note for vote audio tape.
Stating that Chandrababu attacked the TRS for the defection of MLAs, he asked why he did not mention the defection of 23 YSRCP MLAs into TDP. After four years of romance with BJP, Chandrababu attacked the BJP after pulling out of its alliance.
"I was wondering as to when Lagadapati Rajagopal became a political analyst. He was given a name--octopus," he said. Rs 142 crore belonging to Chandrababu were found by police during Telangana election campaign, he said.
The Leader of Opposition said Chandrababu failed to solve irrigation problems, provide MSPs and zero interest loans. Not even a rupee of input subsidy was given by Chandrababu, even as Kharif season went by. Chandrababu's promises of job for every house and unemployment allowance were not addressed, he added.
Quoting the TDP's promise of removing the CPS for employees in Telangana manifesto, YS Jagan failed to do it in four years in AP.
YS Jagan explained the benefits of Navaratnas, with focus on finding solutions to farmers issues. Road tax exemption and Rs 4,000 calamity fund for farmers would be given, he added.
