*Stop vendetta against BC leaders: YSRCP*

Tadepalli, August 14: YSRCP BC Cell Working President Ramesh Goud warned that the coalition government would face a strong backlash from BC communities if it continued filing illegal cases, making arrests and politically targeting BC leaders.
Speaking at the YSRCP central office, he said Chandrababu Naidu was enforcing a “Red Book Constitution” by turning sections of the police machinery into a private force against YSRCP leaders. He cited the cases against Chintada Ravikumar, Alur MLA Virupakshi Naidu, former Minister Seediri Appalaraju and BC leader Vasu Yadav as examples of sustained political vendetta.
Ramesh Goud said Ravikumar was humiliated and booked along with 20 others over an incident involving a woman SI, while Virupakshi and his son were arrested in a midnight raid despite the MLA and his brother being attacked. He said fabricated narratives were also being used to implicate Seediri Appalaraju and Vasu Yadav.
He said the previous Y.S. Jagan government empowered BCs through education, healthcare, welfare and village-level governance, while the present government was attempting to suppress their political leadership.
Warning police officers against becoming instruments of the ruling party, he said the law cannot serve political interests. He asserted that YSRCP would stand with every BC family facing injustice from Srikakulam to Anantapur and warned that greater repression would only provoke a stronger public revolt.
