Uravakonda (Ananthapuram): Villagers of Seerpi complained about no employment opportunities in their village and and ration, pension and houses not being sanctioned. As part of Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme, MLA of Uravakonda constituency, Y.Visweswar Reddy, toured in Seerpi village in Belugappa village. During this, people narrated their problems to him.
They said to him that Chandrababu had promised to give them pakka houses upon seeing the damage occurred to their houses, but had forgotten all about it in the past 2.5 years. Visweswar Reddy spoke on the occasion to comment that Chandrababu had not kept any of his campaign promises. Mentioning how Chandrababu's negligence had come as a curse to the water projects of Rayalaseema, he remarked that Babu had not been caring to provide water to the area, even with high water level in Srisailam reservoir, pushing Rayalaseema further into drought.
Visweswar Reddy remarked that Chandrababu had not cared a bit about Handri-Neeva, Pothireddypadu Galeru-Nagari or Veligonda projects during his earlier 9-year rule and added that if he had not neglected them at that time, we would have had our rights on the projects now. He condemned not mentioning anywhere in the GOs about providing water from Pattiseema scheme to Rayalaseema. He informed that revolution would happen soon in Ananthapuram for water, hopefully under the leadership of YS Jagan.
