YSRCP gets Ceiling Fan as its common election symbol

Hyderabad, Dec 19, 2013: The Election Commission of
India has allotted Ceiling Fan as the common election symbol for the YSR Congress Party.
The party received a communication from the Central Election Commission to this effect.

The Election Commission said in its
communication, a copy of which was forwarded to the state Chief Electoral
Officer, that it has accepted the appeal of the YSR Congress party seeking a common
election symbol to contest the next elections in the state.

It further said the party  can put up candidates in all the 294
assembly constituencies in the forthcoming elections on the common symbol 'Ceiling Fan'.
