YSRCP to chalk out its action programme

Hyderabad, Sept 19, 2013: YSR Congress Party will hold its
Central Governing Council meeting tomorrow and an extended meeting of the party
leaders day after tomorrow to chalk out its strategy and action programme to  cement the Samaikya Andhra
agitation and take the movement forward to the grass root level. Party
honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma will preside over the two meetings.

Disclosing this to
media persons here today, YSR Congress spokesperson Vasireddy Padma reiterated
the party’s resolve to keep the state united by all means and said the party would
take up programmes in tune with its resolve.

“Reiterating our demand
to the Centre to keep the state united, our MLAs and MLCs are taking out
Padayatra from the Telugu Talli statue to the Gandhi statue in the assembly and
stage a dharna there tomorrow,” she said and demanded the TDP chief Chandrababu
Naidu to take back his letter of support to bifurcation and quit his
legislature post along with his party MLAs.

Naidu
trying to influence the system and investigative bodies

Continuing
the party’s broadsides at Naidu, Padma took umbrage to his plans to publish
white papers on YSRCP chief Sri Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy. “Naidu has developed
cold feet with CBI completing its probe in the case and submitting final charge
sheets as per the Supreme Court orders. Who are you to publish white papers and
what right have you got to do so, Mr Naidu?” she asked him in an aggressive
tone, accusing him of conspiring to influence the system.

All cases foisted on
Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy are politically motivated and he has become victim of
conspiracy. “When the case was filed by TDP and Cong leaders, they said it was
a PIL but as we see now and as we have repeatedly said, it is only a case of
victimization,” she said, adding that Naidu is trying to ensure that the YSRCP
chief would be kept in the jail permanently.

Padma said Naidu is
resorting to this cheap gimmickry unable to digest the fact that Sri Jagan
Mohan Reddy’s bail chances have improved with CBI failing to establish anything
against him after filing 10 charge sheets and probing the case for two and a
half years.

Naidu fears that his
party would be wiped out if the YSRCP chief comes out on bail, she observed and
added. “For this reason, he is at the feet of the Congress leaders to sabotage
the bail chances.”

She said Congress party
in the state is facing extinction after the birth of YSRCP and now Naidu is also
taking his party to the brink of extinction by conniving with the Congress
against the YSRCP chief. “For all your omissions and commissions, you will go
to jail one day along with your son,” she warned him.

Not sparing the captive
media of Naidu, Padma questioned the journalistic ethics of Eenadu daily for
passing judgments on Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy. “How come Eenadu got the copies of
charge sheet against the Bharati Cement Company even as the company itself did
not get a copy of it yet?”
