Guntur: YSR Congress Party leader Botsa Satyanarayana said that the TDP MLAs were looting Guntur district. Speaking to media here today, he said there was no stopping Gurajala MLA Yerapathineni Srinivas. Despite High Court orders, he was continuing to loot the district in all possible ways.
Botsa said yet another TDP MLA Kommalapati Sridhar was siphoning off crores through illegal sand mining, while Dhulipalla Narendra was involved in corruption in the name of Neru Chettu programme. "The rest of the MLAs had not even spared the five elements of nature and involved in looting them as well." The entire district held a mirror to corrupt TDP rule and also lack of law and order.
The YSRCP leader said that the government seems to be unconcerned about the fact that around 400 mandals of the district were reeling under severe drought. While the farmers were in deep crisis, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's government was preparing to purchase rain guns. He said that it was nothing but yet another scam in the offing. Lakhs of acres of land are taken off agriculture but the government is not bothered.
