Chandrababu governance on a biased track

Tadepalli, July 14: Stating that the official machinery has been taking sides and governance has been totally moving on a biased track under Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP has said that it will be the voice of the people and withstand all pressures to expose failures of the State.
Speaking to media here on Monday, Party Chief Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said, police being the most visible arm of governance has been totally misused by Chandrababu Naidu and it has stooped to so low that cases are being foisted on victims while protection is being given to the perpetrators.
In the recent attack on YSRCP ZP chairperson, the police which could have averted the clash by clearing the way remained mute spectators when a bunch of TDP goons attacked the vehicle. Police were reluctant to register a case when Pedana in-charge and husband of the chairperson went to complain but a case was registered against Ramu that his car had hit a women while they were on their way to attend a Party meeting in Gudivada.
This shows the failure or manipulation of systems and in the Bangarupalem incident, based on a complaint by a vernacular photographer’s complaint, a case of attempt to murder was registered. This is the line of governance and their intention is that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy should not being moving out and cases will be filed on the cadre indiscriminately and at the same time violence from TDP side would not be taken up as it has happened in the attack on Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s residence case.
Despite video evidence, no cases are booked on TDP cadre while YSRCP workers are harassed with false sections and cases.
During Podili tour of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy a handful of TDP workers raised slogans and threw stones on YSRCP rally and cases were filed on our party cadre while the ruling party workers were protected. In sharp contrast, Chandrababu Naidu as opposition leader had provoked the mob at Angallu and our government did not act like him. After Bangarupalem visit by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, false cases were filed on thousands of farmers.
It is an undeclared emergency in the State with all organs of the officialdom working in a biased manner and the spirit of democracy to protest is being taken away from the Opposition by trying to dictate what we should be doing or how many people should accompany YS Jagan Mohan Reddy while he is fulfilling his role as Opposition leader and expressing solidarity with the people in distress.
In Tadipatri, our leader is not allowed to his own house citing law and order reasons despite court orders. Police are being forced to toe the line of the government but they should remember that all days will not be the same, governments come and go and they have to work as per law or face consequences in the days to come.
We will withstand all such pressures and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will lead the party in voicing people’s concern, he said.
