Kadapa: The TDP government is not leaving any opportunity behind to win the local body elections in the State and resorted to illegal voting in YSR Kadapa district. The government machinery is deliberately misusing power in several polling booths by allowing TDP leaders into the booths. TDP MP CM Ramesh on Friday caused flutter at Jammalamadugu town when polling was underway.
He tried to enter into the booths, but the police denied entry to him. In another incident, the police personnel showed a biased attitude by allowing the TDP leaders into the booth even though they doesn't have the right to vote in the constituency. YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy and MLA Srinivas raised severe objection. However, no election officials reacted to it.
Some Ministers even skipped the Assembly sessions in Velagapudi and camped in Kadapa district to hatch plots to win the elections. There were instances where AP CM Chandrababu Naidu conducted tele-conferences with the Ministers to review the situation in the district.
