TDP Govt Considers Polavaram A 'Money Spinner'

YSR Congress senior leader Malladi Vishnu said that Polavaram is a lifeline to Andhra Pradesh. The government, which targeted to complete the project by 2018, said the contractors stopped works due to various reasons.  He alleged that the ruling party leaders were exploiting the project for monetary gains only.  

Vishnu wondered why the TDP did not respond to the questions posed by the  party MP and senior leader YV Subba Reddy on Polavaram contracts and escalations of the estimations. He took strong exception to the ruling party campaign against YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that YSJagan was demanding contract works. Vishnu dared the TDP to complete the project in a scheduled time. If failed, the TDP should not seek votes in 2019 elections.
