TDP continuing anti-dalit policies

Hyderabad: Reiterating that
Chandrababu Naidu government has been anti-dalit and has been showing
discrimination on all fronts, YSR Congress has said that TDP has no moral right
to celebrate the birth anniversaries of BR Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivan Ram.

 Speaking to reporters here on
Monday party SC Cell President Merugu Nagarjuna has said that SCs are
being discriminated on all fronts and Chadnrababu Naidu has been ignoring them
in allocation of funds and spending the funds allocated in the budget sub plan.

 Even the Central funds are not being
spent and are diverted and TDP is continuing its anti dalit policies and it has
no moral right to celebrate the jayanti of two great dalit leaders Ambedkar and
Babuji. No land was distributed nor were any houses allotted to dalits and the
SC, ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act was being misused, he said.

 YSR Congress will celebrate the Jayanti
of Ambaedkar one day in advance and Babuji’s birth anniversary will be
celebrated in all the districts of the state on April 5, he said.

 Earlier, a meeting was convened to take
stock of the political situation and the discrimination being shown by TDP
against dalits and the action plan to be adopted, he said.
