YSRCP slams restrictions on YS Jagan's Chittoor tour

Tadepalli, July 9: YSRCP leaders, including former MLA and SC Cell State President T.J.R. Sudhakar Babu and former Minister Ambati Rambabu, have fiercely criticized Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s coalition government for its gross neglect of farmers and deliberate attempts to obstruct Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s public outreach. Naidu and Nara Lokesh are scripting police permissions to restrict Jagan’s tours, his visit to Bangarupalem in Chittoor to address mango farmers’ grievances, where authorities imposed heavy restrictions, including preventing vehicles from refueling and threatening rowdy sheets against supporters. Rambabu condemned Chittoor SP V.N. Manikanth Chandolu for acting as a puppet under Lokesh’s influence, undermining the integrity of IPS officers.
“YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is a leader born from the people, for the people, and no lathis or illegal cases can stop the public’s support for him,” Sudhakar Babu declared, highlighting the government’s fear of YS Jagan
The coalition’s government failed in the farmers’ crisis, 2.5 lakh acres of crops have been damaged in Naidu’s own district. Mango farmers in Chittoor are forced to discard their produce on roads due to the absence of fair prices, yet the government responds with notices to 116 farmers and 113 baseless cases against YSRCP cadres in Sattenapalli. “Did farmers face such oppression under Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy or Jagan’s regimes?”, the coalition of fostering illegal liquor and ganja proliferation, contrasting it with YSRCP’s efforts to curb such issues. YSRCP leaders challenged Naidu to an open debate to compare their records on farmers’ welfare, with Sudhakar Babu asserting, “If you have the courage, come and discuss your inaction against our achievements.”
Sudhakar Babu emphasized that attempts to block YS Jagan in Podili, Sattenapalli, and Srikakulam have failed, urging cadres to remain steadfast as “soldiers” in this battle. Rambabu warned that the coalition’s anti-people policies, including unaddressed Amaravati land issues and unchecked illegal activities, are fueling a public uprising. “The coalition’s baseless cases only strengthen our resolve, turning us into lions,” he stated, predicting that continued misrule would lead to public rejection within a year. “Jagan Mohan Reddy is synonymous with struggle and will deliver justice when re-elected as Chief Minister.”
