Khammam: General Secretary of TYSRCP, Konda Raghava Reddy stated that defection of a couple of MLAs would not effect the party and that the people were by the side of it. He confided that TYSRCP was still consolidated in the district. He attended a meeting with important party leaders at Khammam. He stated that Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy was still in the hearts of the Telugu speaking people and that many people had benefited from the welfare schemes he had implemented. Raghava Reddy complained that the Government was intentionally ignoring the welfare schemes like 108 and 104.  He called for YSRCP activists to unite and raise awareness among people about the anti-people ways of the Government. He remarked that none of the welfare scgemes had reached the people since the last two years of TRS rule.

Konda Raghava Reddy opined that the TRS Government was more interested in publicity rather than in benefiting the people at basic level. He criticised that CM KCR was bluffing people with his words and cautioned that it could not go on for so long as the people were observing everything.

Participating in this meeting were the state's SC Cell president Mendem Jayaraju, leaders BV Ramana, Jillepalli Saidulu, Ailuri Mahesh Reddy, Gudibandla Deepak, Jamalapuram Ramakrishna, Uday Kumar, Kondapalli Venkaiah, Valuru Satyanarayana, Challa Srinivasa Reddy, Rajesh, Undeti Yesupadam, Gurram Annapurna and Rudragani Hanumantha Rao among others.

YSR's statue anointed with milk

Leaders Konda Raghava Reddy, Mendem Jayaraju, BV Ramana and Jillepalli Saidulu paid homage to Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy by anointing his statue at Raparthinagar with milk and decorating it with flower garlands. The leaders and the activists raised slogans in acclaim of Dr YSR.
