Review Of District Formation Needed

Hyderabad, Oct 8: Telangana YSR Congress has said that the formation of new districts is unscientific and does not reflect the will of the people. ‘The exercise should taken up after due consideration of the numerous objections and suggestions and there is no need to rush through the process,’ party leader K Shiva Kumar told reporters here on Saturday.
The formation of new districts has become cumbersome in terms of administration and asking the officials at this juncture to study the feasibility of the exercise sounds ridiculous, he said. There need not be any deadline nor any hurry for the formation of new districts and all the objections and suggestions sent should be taken into consideration before arriving at a conclusion, he said.
