Amruthalur: YSRCP SC wing president and party coordinator of Vemuru constituency, Dr.Meruga Nagarjuna stated that any pretense regarding special status would not be tolerated. He remarked that Chandrababu had no intention of bringing special status for the state. He criticised that Chandrababu was going easy on special status out of his fear for having to face CBI inquiry on his unlawful activities like not for vote case and capital land mafia. Meruga reached Kuchipudi of Amruthalur mandal in Guntur district on Sunday in order to participate in the state-level dharna planned under the leadership of the leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan on Tuesday near all the district collectorates for attaining special status.
He spoke to the media on this occasion. He called for the people who were the victims of deception of Chandrababu's deception to come forward and participate in this agitation near the district collectorates. Meruga complained that Chandrababu had not realised the election-time promises and over that, had caused the farmers to go bankrupt. He criticised that the DWCRA women had been pushed into a situation where they could not even pay interest to their loans.
