Krishna River Authority Should Be Formed

farmers’ wing president M.V.S.Nagireddy opined that an independent Krishna
River Authority should be formed in view of utilizing waters of Krishna for the
solution of water-related problems. He demanded the central Government for its
formation. He spoke to the to the media during his visit to Kodali of
Ghantasala mandal in Krishna district. He suggested that the river authority
should manage projects and provide water to the four states to avoid problems in
water utilization and inter-state conflicts.
