Kadapa:
YSR Congress Party former MP YS Avinash Reddy said that the TDP’s protests were aimed at the elections and not with a concern for people in Kadapa district. The MP participated in the Steel Plant Accomplishment protest at Jammalamadugu today where he addressed a massive gathering.
Avinash Reddy said that under the instructions of their party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the MPs had resigned to achieve Special Category Status to AP as well as fulfill all the promises made during state bifurcation. If only TDP MPs too had resigned and participated in the indefinite hunger strike, the centre would have budged to the demands. "It was no use for TDP to protest now." He called upon the people to teach a proper lesson to TDP and BJP in the upcoming by-elections.
