I will not rest until Chandrababu is put behind bars

Visakhapatnam: YSR Congress Party General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP V Vijaysai Reddy accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of being involved in corruption amounting to Rs three lakh crores.

Speaking at the venue of Deception Day Protest here today, the YSRCP MP alleged that the AP CM was disintegrating the state financial system by indulging in corruption and added that he would not rest until Chandrababu is put behind the bars. He went on allege that the TDP Chief had connections with hawala racketeers as well as arms dealers at international level.

He questioned the double standards of Chandrababu and said while fighting against the BJP in the form of Dharma Poratam, the AP CM was appointing BJP minister's wife as the member of TTD Board. Similarly, the purpose of protest today and on the same date fours years ago in support of the Centre at that time, was yet another indication of the double standards of the TDP Chief.

Vijaysai Reddy said that he was ready to refute all the accusations made against him in Delhi. "TDP was only indulging in mud-slinging about my meeting the Prime Minister. It is true that I met the PM but it was to discuss about state's problems and Special Category Status to AP. If needed I will meet the PM 10 more times," he asserted.

The YSRCP MP said he was ready to present the proofs of Chandrababu's corruption to the PM. He emphasised that he would not rest until the TDP Chief is put behind bars. Vijaysai Reddy pointed out that the TDP walked out of NDA due to political compulsions. After snapping the alliance with the BJP, Chandrababu and Lokesh were afraid that they would be jailed any minute, he added.
