Financial Aid To Bereaved Families

Chandarlapadu: YSRCP leaders offered financial assistance on behalf of the party to the bereaved families of the five students who lost their lives in Krishna Pushkarams. Mulakapalli Harish from Chandarlapadu of Krishna district, Pasam Gopireddy of Cheruvukommupalem of Nandigama mandal, Kammavarapu Harigopi and Koochi Lokesh from Nandigama and Nandigama Nagesh from Jayanthi village of Veerulapadu mandal lost their lives recently as they went for the holy pushkar bath ritual at Didugu village of Guntur district.
YSRCP's coordinator of Nandigama constituency, Dr.Mondithoka Jaganmohan Rao and state secretary Arun met the families of the demised and offered Rs.1 lakh financial aid to each of them. He stated that the aid was being offered as er the instructions of YS Jagan.
The five students met their fate due to the negligence and publicity craze of the Government. The leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan stood supportive of the families of the victims. He met the families and consoled them. He slammed the Government for unjustly taking their lives and assured his support to them. Apart from offering financial aid to the families, he demanded that the Government sanctioned Rs.20 lakh of ex gratia to each of the bereaved families.
