New Delhi: YSRCP MP from Ongole YV Subba Reddy met Union Minister of State For Health Anupriya Patel on Wednesdayand discussed about the high incidence of viral fevers in the rural interiors of Prakasam district. He explained about the conditions prevailing in the district and told her that several people have died due to viral afflictions.
He requested the minister to ensure that adequate measures are taken in the district. He also wanted platelets counting missions to be set up in Ongole RIMS hospital. He said since the state government was doing nothing, the centre should intervene and help the people of Prakasam.
He said though over a hundred people have succumbed to the viral afflictions, the TDP government remained inactive and insensitive to the plight of the people. The AP Government was in sleep mode, he said.
