Cable Operators Meet YS Jagan, Complain Of TDP Taxation

Peddapuram: Representatives from the Cable Operators Associations in the state met Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who, as part of his mass outreach programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra  is touring East Godavari district to interact with people and learn about their difficulties and problems faced in the last four years in the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu rule.

The cable operators howled before the people's leader over the destruction of the cable operators' revenue system after Chandrababu came to power.

While the pole tax system is already incurring a huge damage on us, the TDP, in the name of Corporate Under Ground, is leaving zero profits to the cable operators across the state, they lamented.

The Leader of Opposition promised the cable operators the legislation of the Fiber Grid Act and abolition of the pole tax system, soon after coming to power. As YS Jagan moved forward to hear public grievances, the elated cable operators expressed their happiness over the people's leader's commitment.
