An Atrocity Going Unquestioned
16 May 2016 3:43 PM

The leader of opposition in AP and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, complained that the atrocity towards AP was going unquestioned. He criticised AP CM Chandrababu for not stepping forward to question the Government of Telangana while it was building projects unlawfully on the rivers Krishna and Godavari. He expressed his displeasure towards TDP's negligence about the downstream areas' not getting water.
YS Jagan informed that Rayalaseema would have the scope of availability of water if Srisailam reservoir had at least 854 ft. water. But while the water was only 800 ft. deep, Telangana was trying to snatch 120 TMC of water. Then how would downstream area get water, YS Jagan posed a straight question to KCR and Chandrababu Naidu. He blamed Chandrababu for not questioning the atrocity happening towards Rayalaseema as well as districts like Nellore, Prakasam, Guntur, Khammam and Nalgonda, in spite of being in a responsible position while Telangana was building schemes like Palamuru-Rangareddy and Dindi.
