Kakinada, October 24:Former Minister and YSRCP North Andhra Regional Coordinator Kurasala Kannababu came down heavily on the coalition government, stating that the entire administration has turned into a hub of fake liquor, ganja trade, and gambling, all operating under the ruling alliance’s protection. Speaking to the media at his Kakinada camp office, he said, “Even TDP’s own MLA and the Deputy Chief Minister are now exposing the anarchy, yet Chandrababu Naidu feels no shame.”
Kannababu said that the government ignoring people’s problems while indulging in false publicity and credit theft. “Chandrababu and his ministers are busy spinning lies about jobs and investments, while the State is collapsing. They think BJP’s backing and Jana Sena’s partnership will shield them, and yellow media will glorify them no matter what,” he said. He pointed out that fake liquor is being produced like a cottage industry from Tamballapalle to Parawada, with belt shops operating in every village and even door-to-door liquor delivery. “While they boast of QR-code awareness campaigns, liquor is flowing freely on the streets,” he remarked.
Citing shocking revelations from within the ruling parties, Kannababu said, “TDP MLA Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao himself revealed that MP Kesineni Chinni’s men are selling ganja. Even Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan admitted in writing that police officers are running gambling dens. Yet, the Deputy Speaker from the same region justifies gambling, calling it a harmless card game. This sums up the moral collapse under Chandrababu’s rule.”
He also expressed deep concern over the breakdown of public health services. “Aarogyasri has collapsed; network hospitals are on strike due to Rs. 3,000 crore pending dues. PHC and CHC doctors are protesting, fevers are rampant, hostel students are dying of infections, and the government doesn’t care,” he said.
Slamming Chandrababu for “shameless credit theft,” Kannababu reminded that the4 Adani–Google Data Centre in Vizag was conceptualized, approved, and inaugurated during YS Jagan’s tenure. “Even Gautam Adani tweeted acknowledging it. Yet Chandrababu now claims it as his own, with yellow media rewriting history to suit him,” he said.
Taking on Nara Lokesh’s claim of 1.88 lakh jobs from the project, Kannababu said, “Google’s total global workforce is 1.83 lakh. How can one data centre employ more than Google itself? This is not development but deception.”
Concluding, he said the coalition has replaced governance with greed, turned Andhra into a den of vice, and will soon face the people’s verdict.
