Foxconn Head Meets CM YS Jagan

Amaravati: Josh Foulger, Country Head and MD of Foxconn International Holding, India called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his Chambers in Secretariat here on Tuesday.

During the brief discussion, the Taiwanese multinational electronics company head said that their Company has been providing employment to 15,000 women in their company at SriCity SEZ in Nellore district.

He told the Chief Minister that their Company has provided skill development training to the women and also will increase the production.

Foxconn Company sells 35 lakh cell phones per month.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told that State Government is ready to welcome new opportunities and is taking all necessary steps to make it an electronic hub.

He also told that Andhra Pradesh is the best place for investments and assured to provide full cooperation for the investors.

The Chief Minister said that the Government will establish skill development centers in each of the 25 parliamentary constituencies with high standards to train for best manpower.

“Government is planning to create more jobs through these skill development centers and Foxconn should take steps forwards in this regard” the Chief Minister said.
