Coalition govt fails to ensure YS Jagan’s security

Tadepalli, April 10: Former MLA Koramutla Srinivasulu criticized the coalition government for failing to secure ex-Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, a popular Z-plus leader. He told the media the government neglects Jagan’s safety, providing minimal police bandobast despite huge crowds at his tours, shirking its duty.
Srinivasulu noted the government’s apathy during Jagan’s visit to Papireddipalle, Ramagiri Mandal, to support YSRCP leader Lingamiah’s family. He condemned Home Minister Anitha’s arrogant remarks, questioning her inaction on lapses. He rejected efforts to limit YS Jagan’s stature to Pulivendula MLA, slamming her for ignoring women’s attacks while targeting YS Jagan. He also criticized Health Minister Satya Kumar’s baseless claims and MP Krishnadevarayalu’s false complaints against Jagan.
He accused police like SI Sudhakar in Ramagiri of aiding TDP’s MLA Paritala Sunitha, intimidating YSRCP members, and filing cases against victims, not attackers, in Papireddipalle. Srinivasulu said the coalition uses police to harass YSRCP leaders, with families still displaced 10 months after elections due to fear.
He questioned law and order, saying impartial policing would curb murders, rapes, and land grabs, citing court rebukes over false cases. He urged CM Chandrababu Naidu to focus on peace, warning that unfulfilled promises could backfire.
