Chandrababu Draws Plan To Hoodwink Farmers Again

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had come out with a set of agenda to cheat the farmers again. This time,  he announced Rs 10,000 cash incentive to every farmer, crop insurance and safeguarding the interests of tenant farmers.

He also announced the promotion of food processing industry on a large scale and and linking the farm  work with the rural employment guarantee scheme.

In 2014 elections,  the TDP Chief made the promise of waiver of all farm loans. Till date, waiver of loans is still pending. As a result,  the farmers were denied reschedulment of their loans in the scheduled banks. He also announced Rs 15,000 as crop investment assistance to each tenant farmer.  None of them were given the amount in Andhra Pradesh so far.

Following his father Dr. YS Rajashekhar Reddy's foot steps, YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accorded top priority to agriculture.  He  announced that loans will be provided to farmers at zero interest and creation of market stabilization fund with Rs 3,000 crore to address the MSP problem.

Jagan also made the promise of free power supply for nine hours a day to farm sector if his party is voted to power in the forthcoming assembly elections.  The assurances given by YS Jagan already instilled confidence among the farmers that the debt burden and other farm related crisis they are facing will come to an end once YS Jagan assumed the CM post
