*Chandrababu covering up failures through false propaganda*

Srikakulam, May 26: YSRCP has flayed Chandrababu Naidu for resorting to character assassination of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family members to cover up his failures and trying to whip up faction politics.
Speaking to media here on Tuesday, former Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao said Chandrababu has been following the age-old strategy of mudslinging against adversaries when governance has failed on all fronts, but Chandrababu has been trying to reopen the closed chapter of faction politics.
Time and again, doling out stories on faction politics which was firmly put down by Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy is only a diversion tactic and aimed at targeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at a time when all sections of people are getting vexed by the policies of the coalition.
“We will not fall into your trap and get provoked if you call us criminals, but will expose your diversion politics with more vigour and make people understand your strategy of targeting political adversaries when your chips are down,” he said.
The entire propaganda exercise is only to mask the failures of the coalition as farmers are not getting MSP for any crop, they are not getting urea, students are not getting fee reimbursement, employees are unhappy, women feel cheated and all sections of people are against the government.
The mandate given to the coalition was to fulfill its promise that it would do more than what YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had done and not for digging up old history and spreading hatred among people with an attempt to revive faction politics.
Calling names to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSRCP serves no purpose as the borrowings of Rs 3.6 lakh crore are not accounted for and all the poll promises have been left unattended, he said.
People are angry with the coalition government as Chandrababu has unleashed false propaganda against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, showing the land resurvey and other revenue issues as bait, but the mandate has lost its relevance once the assurance of wealth creation and increasing the standard of living did not materialize, he said.
There is no use in targeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family as the beneficiaries of that family will stand testimony to his efficiency, which was proved during the severe Covid crisis when all welfare schemes were implemented while handling the crisis effectively, he said.
