YSR Congress Party on Monday slammed CPI for its uncharitable remarks and advised it to shun being a mouthpiece of TDP, a party which it opposed on many counts.
“CPI State secretary K Narayana speaking to select media suggests that it has turned as a mouthpiece of the TDP and its remarks on our is party is highly objectionable,” party official spokesperson GattuRamachandra Rao told reporters here.
We have jointly fought many battles against the TDP policies and suddenly Narayana giving interviews to a section of media casting aspirations on YSR is sending a signal that he too has joined the bandwagon that has been resorting to false propaganda against our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said.
“Making ridiculous statements has been Naryana’s forte and his comment that there is nothing wrong in TRS-TDP working together adds to the frustration of TDP and CPI after CPM announced that it going solo,” Gattu said.
CPM has written a book highlighting the corruption and anti-people policies of Naidu. Acknowledging the contents of the book, CPI and YSR-led Congress have undertaken many agitations.
If Narayana wants publicity, as the topic was not published by the party mouthpiece Visalandhra, he need not try such cheap gimmicks, he said.
